The hospital is a general hospital and provides a wide range of Diagnostic, Curative and Preventive services befitting its status as the District Referral centre.
Emergency Services
The hospital runs a 24h emergency services for all emergency conditions such as trauma, pediatric, medical, surgical and gynaecological emergencies. This emergency is manned by a competent team of Specialist and medical officers and provides prompt and high quality of emergency health services for all your clients.
Out patient Clinic
OPD services are available every blessed day from 8am to 5pm. Specialist clinics in internal medicine, obstetrics and Surgery are also available but only by booking. Booking for specialist clinics is available for free for all NHIS clients and a limited fee for non insured clients.
Physician Specialist Clinic
This clinic runs on Wednesdays from 12pm-3pm and its strictly by appointment only. Appointments for this clinic can also be done online or by phone.
Laboratory Services
The laboratory unit of the hospital conducts diverse investigations for in-patient, out-patients and referrals. Below are some of the services provided;

Obstetrics and Gynecology Block
This is a designed clinic by the hospital for the management and education on all obstetrics and gynecological issues. There is an Antenatal clinic and Post natal clinic that runs from Monday to Friday from 8am-4pm run by a dedicated team of midwives and doctors. Specialist Gynecology consultation is available only by appointment on Fridays at 2-5 pm. Elective surgeries for Uterine fibroids and Hysterectomy(womb) removal is available.
Cervical Cancer Screening Center
This is a new service center designed for screening of cases of Cervical cancer. It’s opened from 8 am to 5pm, Mondays – Fridays.
Surgical Clinic
The hospital offers both emergency and elective general surgical services ranging from minor to major surgeries 24/7.
Ophthalmic Services
The hospital provides quality eye care services through qualified Staff like resident Ophthalmologist, Optometrists, Ophthalmic nurses and other paramedics. It has an Ophthalmic theater where all eye surgical procedures are performed. The eye clinic also carries out visual field testing for glaucoma screening. It also serves as a training center for ophthalmic nurses from Korle-Bu teaching hospital and optometry students from university of cape coast and kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology.
Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinic
There is an Ear Nose and Throat clinic available in the hospital that is run by a dedicate ENT nurse. The clinic is open Monday to Friday 8am-3pm.
Dental Services
The hospital runs a Dental clinic that runs from Monday to Friday. The clinic is run by a Dental Physician assistant with a Specialist Dentist visiting to run clinics on a biweekly basis.
Reproductive Health Care and Safe Motherhood
This is the bedrock of Antenatal services in the facility. Services includes counseling of family planning and pregnancy and safe motherhood, pre-natal care, safe delivery and post-natal care, prevention and appropriate management of all associated complications.
Child Welfare and Primary Health Care
There is a very vibrant unit which takes care of child welfare and primary health care issues.We offer vaccinations and complete child care services .
Psychiatry Clinic
This unit provides holistic community based Out and In-patient services on psychiatric conditions. Day Care service is also available as well as a recreation center to assist client through their journey to recovery.
Diabetic and Hypertension Clinic
This is a Specialist clinic designed clinic by the hospital in for the management and education on the two chronic disease.
This to ease clients of the busy and long queue during the normal hospital day. Clients with the above chronic illness are therefore to take note for quality and timely treatment. It operates twice weekly on every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 am to 2 pm.
Sickle Cell Clinic
It is a specialized clinic solely for patients with sickle cell diseases. the clinic is run on every Friday which is manned by a qualified team with the physician specialist as the head.
HIV/AIDS Clinic
The Anti Retroviral Therapy (ART) centre offer voluntary counseling and testing to both acquired and non- acquired clients and offers Antiretroviral therapy and psychological support for affected patients.
Tuberculosis
This center offers diagnosis and treatment for patients with tuberculosis as well as gene x part testing for affected patients.
X-Ray & ECG Service
The unit offer all kinds of X-ray investigations ranging from Chest, hip, limbs and among others. it also offers Electrocardiogram examination to check the pattern of heart beat of clients.
Ultra Sound Unit
The sonographical strength of the facility has been improving from time to time from 2D to 3D machines. The unit offers diverse scan to all categories of persons with various conditions. The services offered include obstetrics and gynaecological scans, pelvic, abdominal scans among others.
Physiotherapy Unit
The hospital offers physical therapy by using the best equipment available. We employ exercise therapy to remediate impairments, promotes mobility and function and to improve patient’s quality of life.
Pastoral Service
This unit provides support for patients with drug and alcohol addiction and rape victims and is run by the pastoral team. Its available through out the week from 8 to 5 pm.
Mortuary services
The mortuary unit offers both refrigeration and embalming of corpse both from home and deaths from the hospital. Excellent corpse preservation is assured.
